Scientology sort of definitely ruined her life. Now, they are abusing their former unpaid staff member even further in a Kafkaesque way, with endless enforced "arbitration".
It's like the court sentencing a rape victim to go back to her rapist, but not to be raped again. Only to be persuaded that the rape wasn't really that bad. And they can't leave . . .
